The Main Salmon offers a rich river experience including free-flowing Class III/IV whitewater that offers an adventure seekers delight during spring run-off and, latter in the summer is great for any age and experience level. Flowing west across Idaho, the Main Salmon,"River of no return" has carved the second deepest canyon in North America and drains over 14,000 square miles of land.
Huge sandy beaches perfect for camping and playing, beautiful mountain scenery, abundant wildlife, and a natural hot springs make this trip perfect for familes, the first timer or seasoned river runner.
All trips begin in Salmon, Id at the Stagecoach Inn where you will meet Erich, your trip leader and co-owner of Sawtooth Adventure Company. Erich goes on each and everyone of the Main Salmon river trips ensure that the quality of every trip is second to none.
